Spring Into Reading Event

A couple of weeks ago, I attended my first in-person writers event! It was in Canby, OR (which is about half an hour away from me). I got to share a table with a wonderful writer friend of mine. It ran over a Saturday and Sunday, and was packed with writers from all different genres. Every writer who participated had a book in a raffle giveaway, so that was pretty neat. Whoever won the sci-fi package, I hope you enjoy my book!

Over the course of the weekend, I sold three books! Which doesn’t sound like a lot, but it was actually more than I sold online for the entire month of April (so much for Indie April). I had a blast. I met a lot of cool writers and filled my own bag with some of their awesome books. There weren’t too many readers in attendance unfortunately, and I mostly attribute that to the fact it was the first sunny weekend in Oregon.

Overall, it was a positive experience, and I look forward to doing more in-person events.
