Seeker

Growing up on Johnstone Station, an ore processing facility in the far-flung reaches of human space, Daylin Reece had two options to survive: toil in the mines on the planet below, or turn to the station’s lucrative black market. Choosing to lead a life of crime, Daylin is eventually caught and prosecuted, sentenced to a remote and harsh penal colony. But en route to the prison world, a spatial rift sends Daylin’s transport across the galaxy, where it crashes on a deserted planet, with Daylin the only survivor.

After years of being marooned in unexplored space, Daylin is found by Seeker, a sentient starship with a mission to seek out new life. Daylin vows to use this second chance as a way to atone for his past. Aboard Seeker, he finds a vibrant community with members of other races Seeker has rescued. But beneath the surface, questions nag at Daylin. Something about Seeker’s mission doesn’t quite add up, and a chance battle with another ship exposes a secret that will forever alter Daylin’s life.
