Hello!
Here’s what’s new in the first full week of April:
Sci-fi WIP is at 71k words. Progress this week has been slow. I haven’t had many chances to write, but I’m hoping that’ll turn around starting today.
My wife and I are halfway through putting together a new greenhouse. We got a nice one from Costco to replace the old, ratty one we got years ago. The old one was a frame with a plastic cover, and it did an admirable job for the last five years, but the weather and time have taken their toll. The new one is cedar, with real panels. I’m really looking forward to all the gardening we’re going to do. Pictures to come.
I’m probably about 3/4 of the way through building a new chicken area. We have five chickens, and they currently roam our property freely. However, they’re really good at destroying everything and pooping everywhere, so this weekend I fenced off a nice big area for them and we’re going to convert an old shed into a coop for them.
This coming weekend, I’m going to my first in-person author event! It will be in Canby, OR. I’m pretty stoked, although I have no idea what to expect.
