Novel #2

Just wanted to share some exciting news! Last week, I finished the first draft of my second novel! Like the first, it’s a standalone sci-fi story. It clocked in at just a hair over 100k words. I’m about a third of the way through a first pass, and I’ve trimmed that to 97k. My goal was for this one to be shorter than my last book (which was 114k words) so that the print cost would be cheaper, and I could offer it to readers at a fair price in the face of rising costs.

In a few weeks, I’ll probably register the ISBNs and add a “Coming Soon” to my Books page. Stay tuned.
