Fall musings

Gee, where does the time go? Seems like summer just whizzed right by. Anywho, I thought I’d provide a little update about where I am personally and professionally.

Charmed Space is out in the world! I’m very proud of it. I think I’ve grown as an author since my debut, and this story feels much more personal. There’s a lot of me in the MC. I’m better with people and emotions, but as I age I’m growing more comfortable with the idea that the universe might be wilder and stranger than anyone can imagine, and that there’s more to it than data.

My novella is undergoing it’s last revisions, then my wife will design another stellar cover.

In personal news, I got a promotion at work! I was moved from proofreader to editor, which is exciting. I started my new position at the beginning of this month. Same team, just new responsibilities. It’s a great opportunity, and I love that my work promotes from within!

And of course, the big news is that my wife is due to give birth to our son any day now! I’m over the moon. I can’t wait for our little family to be complete.
